Morning hot air balloon flight of Saturday 11th July

The early riser flight on Saturday 11th July saw both G-CENX and G-CDHL carry sixteen passengers each to the crisp morning skies over a sleeping Norfolk.

After the safety briefings had been heard, and the balloons prepared and inflated, the eager adventurers gently lifted off the ground to begin their journey of a lifetime.

Both balloons floated in a south-easterly direction, giving spectacular views of the edge of the city before heading out over the beautiful Norfolk countryside. They drifted over Poringland and Thurton before finally coming back to the ground at Hardley, and Langley Green near Loddon.

Once the balloons had been packed away, the flight was toasted by all in the traditional manner with a glass of chilled Champagne (or orange juice), and the passengers were presented with their commemorative flight certificates as proof of the aerial adventure they had just experienced.

Pam Butcher said of her adventure with us, "A most fantastic morning!"

These thoughts were echoed by Virginie Lampon, "It was completely magical, a serene experience. Just lovely and the landing was the final excitement, I loved it."
