Tuesday 13th October, the morning adventure

On the morning of Tuesday 13th October 2009, an extra flight had been scheduled as the weather was forecast to be suitable, and Bluebell Road in Norwich was the meeting place for our eager passengers booked onto the flight. G-CENX would be their carriage as they traversed the crisp early morning skies, and experienced a journey like no other.

After the safety briefings had been given, and G-CENX was prepared for flight and inflated, she lifted her adventurers into the air, and began heading in a south-westerly direction. They viewed the Norfolk countryside from arguably the best angle available, allowing appreciation of the beautiful landscape and it's features as a whole.

They finally landed at Hempnall, near Fritton. The balloon and basket were packed back onto the trailer, and the flight toasted in the traditional manner with a glass of chilled Champagne, before the passengers were given a lift back to the launchsite in the minibus which follows the retrieval crew.
