As dawn broke on this Friday morning, sixteen passengers made their way to our launch site on Bluebell Road Norwich ready to embark upon their early morning hot air balloon ride. With safety briefings complete, the passengers helped the crew to pull out our large blue balloon G-CENX. Having first been filled with cold air, the air was then heated until she stood proudly above the basket so that our passengers could board. With the final checks complete, she lifted her passengers gracefully into the morning sky.
With a westerly wind, G-CENX made her way slowly across the south of the City of Norwich offering her passengers spectacular views of this fine city including Norwich Castle and Norwich Cathedral.
Leaving the City of Norwich behind our passengers were soon enjoying the views of the Norfolk countryside before landing on a private lawn in the village of Kirby Bedon. With the retrieval crew hot on her heels, G-CENX was soon packed away and our passengers toasted their flight with a glass of chilled Champagne, fruit juice or a mixture of the two.
