Evening balloon ride on Sunday 17th August 2008

Passengers and spectators arrived and were checked in by a member of crew and when everyone had arrived the first of the safety briefings began.

Passengers and spectators listened carefully to the instructions before passengers were taken to the baskets for their basket briefing.

After all the formalities were over, the fun began, with passengers eager to join in and help the crew to pull out the balloon on the ground ready for inflation.

Once the pilots were happy with the weather both our hot air balloons, G-CENX the blue balloon and G-CDHL the yellow balloon were inflated.

As the balloons lifted into the upright position passengers were called to board and with beaming faces were soon on they way, waving good-bye to family and friends who stood on the launch site gazing up as they rose higher and higher into the sky.

Travelling over the City of Norwich passengers  had marvellous aerial views of Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle and the Norwich City Football Stadium at Carrow Road, before heading eastlery with views of the River Yare with its many tributaries not normally seen by the road.

Both balloons landed a few fields apart in the village of Panxworth.
