Staff from Adcock Refrigeration enjoy an early evening flight on Friday 19th September 2008

When Mr Adrian Bonfield arrived at our lauch site on Bluebell Road in Norwich he was thrilled that it had turned out to be such a glorious day for his corporate balloon flight.

His staff, from Adcock Refrigeration, arrived with eager anticipation. Once all safety briefings had taken place and the pilot was happy with the weather our large hot air balloon G-CENX was prepared for flight.

The party were keen to work with the crew  providing not only an intriguing insight into the adventurous world of ballooning, but also an excellent team building activity, and soon had the balloon pulled out ready for inflation.

Four strong volunteers helped on the crown ropes as G-CENX was filled with air. Soon she was standing with all her glory above the basket awaiting her passengers who were ready to embark upon their exhilarating and unforgettable experience

Floating peacefully with the breeze over the rolling countryside the hustle and bustle of modern day life was left behind to be replaced by the tranquillity and stillness of Norfolk skies.

The panoramic views of the west of the city of Norwich were soon to be replaced with views of the villages of Ringland, Weston Longville an Morton on the Hill before the balloon came to rest on a stubble field opposite the magnificent view of Great Whitchingham Hall.

As the sun set  the  team toasted the flight with a glass of champagne and all agreed that it had been a fantastic flight and they would take away with them a memory to last a lifetime.
