The morning hot air balloon ride of Tuesday 14th October 2008

What better way to start the day? Our passengers gathered together on the launch site on Bluebell Road in Norwich, together with their friends and family, to await the start of their aerial adventure.

At 08:40, G-CENX took off and it was time to give the passengers a birds eye view of Norwich as they flew straight over the city, enjoying the sights of Carrow Road, the home of Norwich City Football Club, the Cathedral and River Wensum.

Leaving the cares of the world behind, their journey continued towards Rackheath and then onto Wroxham and the wonderful Norfolk Broads.

After landing in a stubble field in Hoveton passengers were reunited with their family and friends who had joined in the adventure and followed behind the retrieval crew.  The sound of popping Champagne corks could soon be heard and the flight toasted in the traditional manner.

Ordering his in-flight photograph Mr Balderston thanked everyone involved, "It was brilliant - I thoroughly enjoyed it!"

Speaking to us the next day another passenger, Mrs Crowe said "It was fantastic, I loved every minute of it.  Everyone was so friendly and I haven't stopped talking about it.  I am over the moon and want to go again tomorrow!"
