Early riser flight of Saturday 23rd May from Bluebell Road in Norwich

The passengers booked onto the early riser flight of Saturday 23rd May arrived at the launchsite on Bluebell road, Norwich as the rest of the city slept. They listened to the safety and flight briefings, anticipating the uplifting adventure awaiting them all.

Once G-CENX was prepared and inflated, they graciously rose into the crisp morning skies, and began their journey over the Norfolk countryside. Fantastic views of the city were seen as they drifted over Hellesdon and Drayton, and then continued in a northerly direction passing overhead Horsford and Buxton, finally coming back to earth in a field in Oxnead.

The flight was then toasted in the traditional manner with a glass of champagne (or orange juice) and the pilot presented the passengers with their commemorative flight certificates to prove they had taken part in the adventure of a lifetime.

Reflecting on the flight, Mr and Mrs Fitches said:

“It was absolutely breathtaking, we both thought it was fantsatic, and when we got home we told all our friends that if they haven’t done it, they should do it.”
